There is no doubting the status of this legendary maker of music equipment, and still, the Fender brand seems to get stronger and stronger.
They have always delivered gear that have taken on legendary status such as the Telecaster, Stratocaster, Jazz Bass and Precision Bass.
However, for the amp lover, they have constantly produced the most amazing sounds through their wonderous Hot-Rod, Frontman, Super Sonic, and Twin series, and many many more amazing amps. Only time will tell if they can continue the awesomeness…
According to its makers, the Fender Vibro Champ takes the vintage formula into the “now” by combining a real tube amp with “up to date extras” . They say these are “ versatile amp voicing and effects”.
Now I don’t know about you, but all I care about is getting a great sound out of an amp, and by god this gives it!
The most striking thing about the Fender Vibro Champ is the range of effects you get. Plan to have some time chewed up learning all about them and getting your head around it all, but in the end, the impressive range of diversity that this combo provides is sensational.
When comparing this gem to the original, which only had Tremolo, it is a hands down winner. It has Tremolo, Reverb, Delay, Chorus, Vibratone, and combinations which just adds so much more than the average Joe needs!
Regardless of what you generally like, this combo provides far above the value it requires for purchase. It is compact, with typical vintage styling from Fender, the Vibro Champ delivers all round.
